Mesahat for Sexual & Gender Diversity Creates safe spaces, supports activists, and advocates against violence and discrimination for sexual and gender minorities.

Germany

GLADT Non-profit organization based in Berlin and is an independent, self-organized group of LGBTQ people with a family link to Turkey. Provides support services that includes counselling and relevant literature.


Liberal-Islamischer Bund The Liberation Islamic Foundation offers a forum for all citizens who want to engage with Islamic, inter-religious and societal questions.

Iraq

IraQueer Increasing visibility and awareness amongst and about the local LGBT+ community through sharing information, news, and personal stories in Arabic, Kurdish, and English. Also provides trainings and workshops related to human rights for LGBT+ individuals, for activists and other allies. 

Lebanon

Helem A lobbyist group that works towards ending discrimination and stigma towards people with non-normative sexualities, sexual orientations and gender identities, and to decriminalize homosexuality in Lebanon.

Malaysia

Musawah ('equality' in Arabic) is a global movement for equality and justice in the Muslim family.


Sisters in Islam Focuses on challenging laws and policies made in the name of Islam that discriminate against women. As such it tackles issues covered under Malaysia's Islamic family and syariah laws, such as polygamy, child marriage, moral policing, Islamic legal theory and jurisprudence, the hijab and modesty, violence against women and hudud.

Inclusive Mosque Initiative An inclusive space of worship. IMI values gender expression and gender justice as an integral manifestation of Islamic practice and facilitates inter-community and inter-faith dialogue and collaborates with others who are seeking change for social and economic welfare and justice.

USA

Muslim Alliance for Sexual & Gender Diversity MASGD works to support, empower and connect LGBTQ Muslims and seeks to challenge root causes of oppression, including misogyny and xenophobia. MASGD hosts a yearly retreat for LGBTQ Muslims and their partners.
